The Plum Tree Prosperity Lesson

My Little Plum Trees

When I was a young lad we had some plum trees in our yard. I loved when the plums were ripe and often ate way too many. I loved the plums and how they hung from the tree beckoning me to grab one. They never forced, begged, or pressured me to snag one. They sold me on the idea by just hanging there and showing off what they had.

I used to preach to the plum trees and used a water hose as a microphone. One day during a heated sermon on a summer day my older brother turned on the hose. Talk about a watered down sermon! I loved the plum trees and couldn't wait till the fruit was ready to be picked.

The Fruit Came From A Tree

The tree stood there solid and just did it's thing.

Does the tree yell out, "Hey, anybody want some of this fruit?"

The fruit attracts people to the tree.

The tree is alive, healthy and full of fresh fruit.

The tree took a long time to produce it's fruit. Nobody gave it much attention until the fruit appeared. Once the fruit appeared people flocked to the tree.

The Tree Started With A Seed

The tree came from the seed. The God seed.

Within that seed was the DNA that would create a tree that would produce fruit. That's how the God Seed works. It has a purpose and intention for the seed. The seed only needed to go into the ground and die. If it lands in the right soil, receives the proper amount of water, and given time it will produce a tree full of fruit.

The seed must be protected from varmints that will dig up the seed and eat it before it has a chance to sprout.

The better your growing conditions the sooner your tree will produced fruit.

Trim off dead, diseased, or broken stems to create a healthy tree.

First the seed must create roots...

...then the trunk...

...the branches grow from the trunk..

...the stems grow from the branch..

...the leaves grow from the stem..

...the total tree produces fruit.

Fruit brings people to the tree.

Take care of the tree and the tree will produce fruit.

People want the fruit before the tree.

Trees take time to grow, don't they?

You can't keep digging up the seed looking for results, can you? If you do that you stop the fermentation process, right? Your dreams need time to ferment, correct? Planning, research, thinking, and launching the seed into the ground is the first step. You must place it in the ground and have faith that it will grow.

The God Seed requires faith. You have to believe it, before you ever see it, right?

You can't let varmints at your seed. Doubt, fear, impatience, worry and lack of vision. You have to believe in that seed you planted and know that even though you can't see it, it doings it's job. You just have to water it, care for it, and protect it from the varmints that will destroy your seed.

One day you will have a tree with abundant fruit.

Remember, Seed starts roots, root create sprout, sprout creates trunk, trunk creates branches, branches create stems, stems create leaves, and that creates your tree.

A tree creates fruit.

The Fruit Attracts People To The Tree

People don't rush to seeds, seeds take time, people are impatient.

People don't rush to sprouts. Sprouts are small and go unnoticed.

People don't rush to trunks, tiny branches, little steams, and little leaves. It's just a small tree.

Most people don't have time for little, for small, and for things beginning. It takes a trained eye to see a plum tree in it's infant stage and believe in it's potential. Only a few admire the beginning tree.

Yet one day when the trees time has come, the fruit will appear. After the waiting, the care, the pruning, and believing in the God Seed the tree will come to full power of it's intention. People will take notice of the tree. They will stop their cars and go to the tree to snag it's fruit. They will tell their friends and neighbors that they found a tree with abounding fruit. The news of the tree will spread.

People will flock to the tree to taste the fruit.

Remember, people want the fruit, but don't want to cultivate the tree first.

The Tree Wasn't Desperate

The tree did it's thing. It flowed with the nature of things.

It didn't fret because it was a seed in the ground and no one saw it. NO! The seed knew it was time to do roots. The tree to be understood that's where it was in this time of the manifestation process.

You can't rush it...take your time...slow roll.

The tree didn't care it was a sprout. Size didn't matter with the tree. It didn't have to be the biggest and the best to feel good about itself. It was happy to be a sprout. It knew that was it's thing to do now, and that were it was at!. It just soaked up the new sun feeling and was glad it evolved out of the ground. It was happy that it was beginning the next phase of the journey.

You can't rush it...take your time...slow roll.

The tree didn't mind it was a little trunk with just a few branches. He knew what time it was, and was happy he made it from a seed to here. He survived being under ground and making it out. He survived being a sprout and not getting trampled on during the rat race to live. He was content just being a little tree with no fruit to show yet.

You can't rush it...take your time...slow roll.

He knew what time it was...he knew he had to be patient.

One day he became a big tree with fruit, but he didn't get desperate. He didn't heckle the passing cars; he didn't worry if anybody is going want his fruit; he didn't wonder if his plan would work?...he knew he had done his job...he had worked and waited too long to worry now.... He knew the fruit would attract.

You can't rush it...take your time...slow roll.

He just hung out..let people know what he was doing..."Hi, I'm Perry the Plum Tree and I make Plums, check these babies out." He didn't fret, worry, or vacillate in desperation. He just hung there and let the fruit shine.

People came and picked his fruit.

He didn't rush it...he took his time...he slowed rolled.

Fake It Till You Make It!

Sometimes you got to fake it, till you make it.

You got to feel it.

You can only begin where you are,
and you have to know where you are,
and you have to know where you are going!

You have to accept  that your seed is in the ground growing roots....that your little trunk is growing your branches...that little stems are coming from the branch... that those first little leaves will sprout for the first time. You have to give your dream time to grow and accept that things take time to manifest in their fullest form. He had to go through the stages of growth and see the beauty of each stage.

One day you will become a tree and know that your tree came from your God Seed. The dream, the vision, the desire for more, that started with a little seed.

Time, Care And Cultivation Bear Fruit

Things take longer to manifest than what you think!

Stamp that on your forehead.

Don't quit before your final payout!

So what if it takes you a few years to manifest your dream? Is that really a big deal? Will you be better off working for a few years before your fruit arrives, or quitting to soon to never see your dreams come to life?

Dreams take time.

Dreams require much care.

Dreams demand cultivating, pruning and dedicated work.

Keep at it is the key.

One day, if you never quit, you will bear fruit.

People will flock to your tree.

Want Some Free Money?

Have you ever lost money?

Every day people lose money, have you? I never really lost a lot, just a ten or twenty. I heard stories of folks cashing their paycheck and losing the whole enchilada. That might damper ones day. What about  money you lose and never realized it?  You drop a quarter, a dime, a five, a ten, or twenty and you didn't even miss it. A lot of people lose a lot of money and I've had the opportunity to find a lot of money.

A Tip from a Teacher

I had a teacher one day tell me to believe that I could find money. To believe that money comes to me. The action point behind the affirmation was to pick up all the money you find. You can't even pass up a penny in the street. When you find the penny you are to thank the Universe for bringing you free money. I started the practice around 1998. I thought I would give it a test drive.

Testing the Tip

So I started the exercise. I kept affirming that money comes to me. Then something weird happened. I started finding pennies. Every day I found more. Then pennies started popping up everywhere. One day I pulled up to a air hose to get air for my tire and I found 66 pennies. After a month I started finding bigger coins...dimes, nickles, quarters and sometimes a mix of coins. I started finding so many I started to record it in a journal.

Then it happened.

One day I found a dollar. It flipped me out.

Then I started finding more dollars.

Then a five.

Then some tens.

Then one day a twenty.

Money started coming to me.

On to Bigger and Better

After three years into the practice I had found a lot of cash overtime. Not something I could live on, or depend on, but I did find money on a consistent basis. What stirred in me was the fact that the Affirmation worked and the laws of the Universe were flipping me out. Before this nothing seemed to go my way, I could never catch a break and I felt an inner poverty I could not shake.

Then weird things happened.

A guy I did business with a year ago sent me a check for $1400.00 out of the blue. His company was audited and it was discovered he owed money to me and others he cheated. He got into some type of trouble and was forced to pay us all. The the check was unexpected and sweet. I didn't even know the guy had ripped me off.

After that I have had several nice windfalls, money came out of nowhere.

Money, Mission, Stuff and Flow

I discovered that once you align to your Divine Mission everything comes into your life. The gifts will begin to surpass money alone. Stuff comes into your life. Stuff you need for your Mission. The key is to be in flow. Stuff is moving around, the way you move it around is giving. You have to open up your heart. The Universe might drop something in your lap and use you to disperse it properly.. I went through being homeless at one point of the Journey. Family would send me some bucks and I have ended up giving most of it away. Yet, Spirit made a way, always met my needs, and I only had to do the homeless seminar for two months. I did it and got the tee-shirt. All my needs were met, but I had to give when Spirit Led me too, even if what I was giving was all I had left to give. Giving creates flow.

One day while doing the homeless seminar. I only had five bucks and Spirit told me to give it to this older street lady. I gave her my last five bucks. Without asking someone called me out of the blue and wired me $40.00. That's a trip, isn't it?

Money and stuff is to flow through you. Remember, we can't own anything, and everything is on rent from God.

Why I get free money?

It's been a long time since I did the homeless seminar. One thing it did was open up my heart and create a fresh compassion for others. So while leaving a bank one day after cashing a check, I glanced through the window and saw a homeless guy. Spirit told me to give him $9.00. To be honest Spirit caught me on a day when I didn't feel that Spiritual. I said to my Inner Dude, "SERIOUSLY"...the reply came back,  "Don't get hard on me now."   I walked across the street and gave the him the $9.00. Then a few blocks later I found a twenty. I thought..,"Man Spirit blessed with with that twenty, because I gave that dude the $9.00."...  Then I heard from within,... "finding that twenty had nothing to do with you giving away that money"..., I said, .."Then why did I find it?"...  My inner dude then said..., "A guy left his house in total disarray with his money all crumbled up in a mess, because his life is in a mess... He believes that life sucks....that you can never get ahead...if you do get ahead something comes along and knocks ya back down....that's the way he sees the gig. Then you come along...a guy who has been affirming for 16 years that... Money Comes To Me...Your paths crossed and there was an exchange of energy...The guy who believes in LOSS dropped $20.00 fumbling though his pockets looking for his phone... so the Universal Law takes that $20.00 and distributes it to the guy that says and believes...MONEY COMES TO ME...simple really...you both got what you believed."

The Riches in Desire

Desire
The starting point of all achievement
The first step towards riches
Think and Grow Rich
By Napoleon Hill
1938
____________________________________________________

To be rich is to manifest the desires of your heart

You can't place a monetary goal on happiness. People who only pursue money embark upon a selfish path of greed. Deriving purpose from accumulating money creates a deeper sense of lack. The disease of more chokes out the Spirit. People of purpose, who love what they do, will always have enough money.

You must discover your Spiritual Desire, your Divine Destiny, your purpose in this lifetime. This is the starting point to a rich life.

Your Divine purpose will enrich the lives of others. The enriching of their life returns riches to you.

One painter paints his clients house to make a quick buck. He fast. He's sloppy. He cuts corners. He leaves a mess. Pays no attention to detail. His goal is money. His motivation is greed.

Another painter paints his clients house to make it beautiful for them. His motivational is the smile on their face, the joy in their heart and the pride he places in his work. He's careful. He takes his time. All his attention is on details. He see flaws the average person doesn't see and is quick to fix it. His goal is not the check. His reward is his perfection of his craft. The feeling of being the best at what he does. The money is not whats due, or owed to him, it's his reward.

The Spiritual Warrior is aware of his motivations. He has tested his heart. What he offers to the world is his gift. He understands that to be great is to be a servant. His focus is on enriching the life of others. He is more than a mere painter, he is an agent of light.

You must discover your Spiritual Desire.

You must place all your energy behind your gift.

You must place the full brunt of your will behind your offer.

You must place all effort in the mastery of your gift.

The desire has to dominate your life.

Nothing else can matter.

You must determine to enrich the lives of other.

Your riches reside in your desire, your dream, your gift to the world.

Money is only a transfer of energy,
the reward,
for paying the price,
for serving others ,
for accomplishing your Spiritual goal.

What's Makes One Rich?

The Hollywood Version

Do you buy into Hollywood's version of rich? Rich is portrayed as excessive. It's an excessive amount of cars, clothes, houses and bling. Does the bling define riches? I don't think so, but I don't endorse poverty as a way of life. The truth is that poverty dwells within. You can be surrounded by an abundance of stuff and still feel the grips of poverty. You have your stuff, yet experience lack, because someone has bigger and better stuff than you.

Our goal is to discover the balance between having stuff and stuff having us. Spirituality doesn't mean you can manifest the biggest and best. Spirituality doesn't mean you have to sign up for a life of poverty either. Where your heart resides is the key.

Man Needs Things

Many people believe to be Spiritual is to embrace poverty. It's true we can't lay up treasures on this earth and the pursuit of material stuff leaves one empty. There is the fact that we came to this material world and need things to survive on this planet. Food, shelter, clothing, transportation and the list goes on. Jesus said, "Seek first the Kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you." When you align to your Divine pattern, your Divine pattern needs things to fulfill your quest in this life. If you align to your Spirit, then everything you need will come into your life.

See the Kingdom of God is within you...Understand that you discover God looking within. Within your heart is divine dreams and desires that Spirit has place in your heart. It's when our pursuits in life are driven by the ego, greed, envy, lust, pride and self-promotion  that we miss the mark. It is not wrong to desire things. It is your right to be rich!

Different Things, for Different Men

The problem with the Hollywood version of rich is it's restrictive attitude. You have within you a Divine Pattern. That Divine Pattern is unique to you. You have a heroic goal, a dream, a vision of what your life should be. There are different things, for different men. Different dreams for different men. Different desires for different men. Poverty is the inability to manifest the dream that resides within your Divine design. So we really can't place a dollar amount, a material goal, or a solid definition on riches. Understand there are riches that money can't buy.

If I were to define riches, I would define it in terms of freedom.

Are you free to live the life you dream about?

The Richest Man I Ever Met

Many moons ago I landed a gig at a building supply company. I met a real character. He owned some land paid in full. He owned a mobile home paid in full. He owned a truck and work trailer paid in full. He owned a ATV paid in full. He owned a boat paid in full. He owned guns. He owned fishing poles. He owned a cooler to hold his beer. Nothing fancy and nothing that would make you think he was rich. He worked for himself and could afford a helper. He could scamp his way around and earn anywhere from $300.oo bucks to $1000.oo a week. He didn't work a lick during hunting season. He hunted or fished every weekend. He got out of bed when he wanted. He worked when he wanted. He always had a cooler full of beer and a big grin on his face. The 3 1/2 years I knew him, I never saw him sad.

Now Hollywood would never considered him rich. He had nothing fancy to speak about. His life in the trailer will never be on MTV Cribs or Lifestyles of the Rich and famous. All his stuff was old, yet all his stuff was paid for in full. He was so skilled at his craft and service he provided he never lacked for work. He might hit a slow spell, like all in the construction industry do, but he was prepared for it and the beer fund was never threatened.

Was I discerned in him was freedom.

I remember all the big shot contractors. During a housing boom they went all in debt. They built houses they couldn't afford, they bought fancy trucks they didn't need, they grabbed bigger boats, they thought the boom would last forever. When the market in these parts crashed many of them lost it all. The stuff went back to the banker. The wives filed for divorce. Many lost everything and they disappeared from our construction supply company.

The richest man I ever met survived. He found enough work to pay the light bill, get gas for the boat and keep the cooler full of beer. He even said it would happen. He would tell me, "I can't believe these stupid bastards are buying all this shit. They'll find out when the bottom drops out." My friend knew how to survive. He knew the times and seasons. He knew who he was and what he wanted. While many souls walked through the ashes of their destroyed lives, he was on the Gulf of Mexico, drinking his beer, telling dirty jokes to his friends, laughing and fishing for grouper.

He was free.

What makes one rich?

Only you can answer that question.
