What to do when you make a mess: a magical way to abundance

Have you ever made a mess in your life? Take some advice from a "Master Mess Maker", that discovered how to turn his life around. If there was a self-help motivation series from the 80's and 90's I pretty much jumped on the band wagon. I studied many Spiritual paths, especially what they taught pertaining to prosperity and abundance. I tried a lot of get rich quick stuff, I tried to get rich in mail order and tried some network marketing. I wanted to find something that could turn my life around in 30 days.

I failed a lot.

I messed up a lot.

I won't go into the details. I was doing just that and erased it. The reason being I'm writing a blog post and not a novel. You must trust I know what I am talking about when I talk about messing up. Some of the self-help stuff helped me and I had a good run for about 10 years. Then the divorce. Divorce + drinking + playing music in the pubs + bumming around Florida+ getting arrested = massive mess up. You get the picture.

The experience brought me to a place of nothing. I went through jail, being homeless, legal trouble and starting back from nothing.I literally only had the clothes on my back... It was part of my journey and the stripping away of everything put my ego on the back burner. I had to bounce back from nothing as part of my life's game. So now I can teach others how to bounce back. So no matter how bad you think your mess is, you can bounce back.

Here are the lessons contained in my experiences.

Accept your mess

If what you put out is what you get back, then you created your mess. You can't look for somewhere else to place the blame. You can't spend the rest of your life blaming your parents, your boss or your x-partner. You have to accept full responsibility for your life.

Accepting responsibility gives you control.

One key point in accepting yourself is forgiveness. You have to forgive others who have hurt you and release all past bitterness. Resentment will lead to your ruin. The past hurt you carry towards others only hurts you. Freedom comes when you forgive and release the past. Once you jump this hurdle you can forgive the most important person: YOU!

Forgiveness increases your control over the circumstances of your life. It's no longer, "They did it to me!" You let go and understand that you have the power of choice.....you were once bitter and that bitterness kept you from becoming your own person. It kept you trapped in the past. Through forgiveness you are released from your past and can empower your future with a brand new love for life.

Remember, this is your life and you are responsible for your own happiness, success and well being.

Once you accept responsibility for your life, then you begin to empower your life.

Know you can change

There is nothing you can't change. When you look at your mess with a sense of acceptance you are now empowered to fix it. Once you believe you can fix it the doors will begin to open for you. Wisdom will come your way, opportunities will find you, and change will begin to take place in your life.

Say: I see positive changes taking place in my life....everyday I am getting better and better.

Books will appear in your life.

Positive pics from the net will speak to you.

New positive people will pop into your life.

Opportunities will find you.

Everyday you will improve and empower your life.

What you are trying to do is to create a positivity expectancy for the future...creating empowering thoughts concerning your future. Don't create a future full of worry, fear, poverty and loss. See your future as growing, prosperous and full of opportunity.

You can change...it only takes faith and hope. Faith is the knowing and hope is the feeling. Faith and hope can take you to where you desire to go.

Change requires patience. You have to slow down. You have to wait. You are making small changes in mindset every day and everyday you are creating slow steady change. With the force of patience you can create the life you desire. IT TAKES TIME. So you have to wait. Take your time and keep making daily changes.

You can go!

You can change!

Exercise Gratitude

Gratitude has magical power. You can't go through life bitchin' and complaining. If you constantly look for a place to place the blame, you are constantly looking for what's wrong. You have to switch your focus on what's right and stop concentrating on your mess. Start cleaning your mess by exercising gratitude. Start your day by thinking of the things you have to be thankful for and see things going well.

Thank God for your food.

The air you breathe.

The things you do have.

The people around you.

Look for what is right in your life.

The more you focus on the positive, the positive things in your life will appear faster and faster.

You have the power to select where you place your focus: Positive or Negative? You can select, right?

You can control how you feel, right? Your feelings is based upon how you choose to respond to a circumstance in life. Choose gratitude and the path of power. Don't allow feelings of despair and doubt to cloud your mindset. You have a thousands things to be thankful for and you can select a life of thanksgiving and praise.

You can get out of your mess?

If you quit seeing your life as a mess.
