Have you ever lost money?
Every day people lose money, have you? I never really lost a lot, just a ten or twenty. I heard stories of folks cashing their paycheck and losing the whole enchilada. That might damper ones day. What about money you lose and never realized it? You drop a quarter, a dime, a five, a ten, or twenty and you didn't even miss it. A lot of people lose a lot of money and I've had the opportunity to find a lot of money.A Tip from a Teacher
I had a teacher one day tell me to believe that I could find money. To believe that money comes to me. The action point behind the affirmation was to pick up all the money you find. You can't even pass up a penny in the street. When you find the penny you are to thank the Universe for bringing you free money. I started the practice around 1998. I thought I would give it a test drive.
Testing the Tip
So I started the exercise. I kept affirming that money comes to me. Then something weird happened. I started finding pennies. Every day I found more. Then pennies started popping up everywhere. One day I pulled up to a air hose to get air for my tire and I found 66 pennies. After a month I started finding bigger coins...dimes, nickles, quarters and sometimes a mix of coins. I started finding so many I started to record it in a journal. Then it happened.
One day I found a dollar. It flipped me out.
Then I started finding more dollars.
Then a five.
Then some tens.
Then one day a twenty.
Money started coming to me.
On to Bigger and Better
After three years into the practice I had found a lot of cash overtime. Not something I could live on, or depend on, but I did find money on a consistent basis. What stirred in me was the fact that the Affirmation worked and the laws of the Universe were flipping me out. Before this nothing seemed to go my way, I could never catch a break and I felt an inner poverty I could not shake.
Then weird things happened.
A guy I did business with a year ago sent me a check for $1400.00 out of the blue. His company was audited and it was discovered he owed money to me and others he cheated. He got into some type of trouble and was forced to pay us all. The the check was unexpected and sweet. I didn't even know the guy had ripped me off.
After that I have had several nice windfalls, money came out of nowhere.
Money, Mission, Stuff and Flow
I discovered that once you align to your Divine Mission everything comes into your life. The gifts will begin to surpass money alone. Stuff comes into your life. Stuff you need for your Mission. The key is to be in flow. Stuff is moving around, the way you move it around is giving. You have to open up your heart. The Universe might drop something in your lap and use you to disperse it properly.. I went through being homeless at one point of the Journey. Family would send me some bucks and I have ended up giving most of it away. Yet, Spirit made a way, always met my needs, and I only had to do the homeless seminar for two months. I did it and got the tee-shirt. All my needs were met, but I had to give when Spirit Led me too, even if what I was giving was all I had left to give. Giving creates flow.
One day while doing the homeless seminar. I only had five bucks and Spirit told me to give it to this older street lady. I gave her my last five bucks. Without asking someone called me out of the blue and wired me $40.00. That's a trip, isn't it?
Money and stuff is to flow through you. Remember, we can't own anything, and everything is on rent from God.

I never used the phrase "Money comes to me" but I do pick up every piece of money I find. I work at a grocery store, and folks drop coins around the registers all the time, and don't bother to pick them up. I do. My husband is pretty good about picking up money he finds on the road/sidewalk too. In about 6 months, we ended up with about $35 in change (pennies, nickels and dimes - have to use quarters for the wash), more than half of which was found. Once I found a $20 mixed in with some leaves on the sidewalk, and my husband found a $20 in a parking lot once. I've found a few smaller bills, too.
ReplyDeleteMy affirmation regarding money is "We always have the money we need for the things we want" - That assumes our bills are already paid, and we can focus on finding the money to spend on other things. Combined with our budgeting, it has done us well.
Thanks for sharing the stories and the positive take on it.
